How credit pricing works
Of the ten AI video tools whose price pages we could read on 16 October 2026, all ten bill monthly or yearly, and five of them meter what you make in credits. The reason is cost: those tools render on their own servers, every second of video uses their compute, and so it is metered.
When the render happens on your PC, there is nothing to meter. Your computer does the work.

- Free updates for version 1.
- A personal licence that includes videos you monetise on your own channels.
- Up to 3 of your own computers.

The two meters that are left
- Your Claude usage. Claude writes and directs each skit, so it uses your normal Claude usage, like any other chat. Cinder Studio adds no meter of its own.
- Your PC’s time. A skit takes a few minutes to render, and longer on a computer with 8 GB of memory.
When a subscription is the better deal

Is Cinder Studio really one payment?
Yes. You pay once and get free updates for version 1. There is no subscription and there are no credits.
Do I still pay for Claude?
You need your own access to Claude Desktop or Claude Code. Making a skit uses your normal Claude usage, and Cinder Studio adds no meter of its own.
Does it work offline?
Partly. Rendering and voicing happen on your PC, but Claude itself needs an internet connection, and Cinder Studio checks its licence about once a month.
Is there a limit on how many skits I can make?
Cinder Studio sets no credit limit. The limits are your Claude usage and the time your PC takes to render.
